Tiny Bubbles Laundry Detergent

So you know I use cloth diapers. I was thrown into the world of cloth when I found out #3 was on the way. I was tired of throwing away diapers from my older 2. I was becoming environmentally friendly at the time, just started recycling. Using microfiber cloths instead of paper towel, natural cleaners... You get the drift. We also were at a point where the money is tight what a better way to save then to use cloth. I didn't know where to start I was (still am actually) new to the land of cloth so I asked a dear friend what I should do as she was the only person I knew that used cloth. She instantly brought me over some of her OLD stash (We really need new diapers Little Man deserves some new diapers). I went and researched cloth diaper washing directions as she didn't tell me much but to use a "free" detergent. I bought All free and Clear. Now I am not going to talk bad about it, but I do not believe it was the wisest choice for cloth, but it was cheap. I washed my new found diapers and used them on my daughter who was still in diapers at the time. (She still is but we are PTing :)) I figured I could get my feet wet with her and see what it was like what is needed. I fell in love with the whole concept and ease of cloth. DH was hesitant and frustrated by the leaks. He was confused by stuffing and covers and all that good stuff. (He is a AIO man).... SO I tried to figure out the leaks I figured we had a learning curve this is new we need to figure out if we are not stuffing enough or stuffing with the wrong thing?? Then I found a wonderful thing called STRIPPING your diapers. Well this was worth a try. I had talked to a few folks about my leaks and the agreed upon problem was, "Its your detergent" SO I still have this bottle of ALL and I use it and I strip like every other wash. You would about die if you saw how much soap is left in my diapers. I need something better I NEED something made for CLOTH DIAPERS.
There are so many choices. Where to start??? I still have no clue. This is probably why I haven't bought any of the soaps that diaper sites sell online.
I have recently been introduced to Tiny Bubbles Laundry Detergent. It is a new detergent made by the Natural Baby Comp. It sounds great to me. Its made for sensitive skin!! We have some major eczema around here so I would hope this would keep any irritation away. It is also Phosphate-Free AND its made for use in HE washers. Look it only has 5 yes FIVE ingredients!!! Ingredients
Sodium carbonate, Sodium sulfate, Sodium percarbonate, Sodium alkyl aryl sulfonate, Linear alcohol ethoxylate.
Its $12.95 for 60 loads in my front loader so it is reasonably priced. I have no idea about shipping but I really think I will buy some of this detergent. I really just need to take the plunge and buy some already. Anyone need half a bottle of ALL???

I have never given the children the pleasure of making there own bear. I myself have only been in Build A Bear and walked around looked and watched small children delight in choosing there very own friend. Then the walk proudly over to the stuffing machine to give there new found friend life. After they have started the stuffing process the child is asked to pick a small heart and to hold it and I believe make a wish?? The heart is then placed inside the bear and the back is sewn shut. You move about the store where you clean your new friend and decide if it needs an outfit and accessories. You even get to choose a name and make a certificate.
I swore I would take my child when they were old enough to enjoy it. BAD MOM ALERT. I have yet to do it :(
Right now Shop Annies is having a giveaway for a $25 gift card. I REALLY want this I can finally take them with this as money is too tight to just go without the help from this GC. FEED YOUR STASH Friday

Now I really like Bumkins but the thing is the ones I have, they are the OLD version so I would really LOVE to try the NEW version. Plus it has bamboo diaps in this giveaway. (giggles in delight) We all know that I love bamboo!!!
Ok the truth behind my love...... It involves the hubby... When I received my used stash of diapers I was quite scared of the Bumkins. They were big and bulky. The velcro tabs were huge and the AIO theroy was there, I guess, to say the least. I put them in the bottom drawer with the other creepy incase of emergency only use diapers. Then I left DH alone with no instructions. It was nap time he had a fresh diaper on no problems right??? HA HA! Well the pretty HH that I had on him and thought I would love leaked with his first pee (SUPER SOAKER). Hubster then was confused by what gets stuffed, what needs a cover, hang on..what is a cover (scratch head)..... For the record: Everything was stuffed and covers were with the soakers so I THOUGHT I left it fool proof. HAHA!! I came home to the dreaded no-no diaper proudly being displayed on his little hiney. My first question was what happened? I got the he was soaked!! Blanket, shirt, bedding everything. Okay thats fine this is our first experience with cloth we will learn but why didn't you use one of the ones in the top drawer? That is when I got the whole stuffed, cover line. I said well they are all ready to go and together. He then said plus these are easy no "buttons" no stuffing its really just like a regular diaper. Now granted all diapers are like regular diapers but these he really seems to fancy, and I get the hey you need to wash the diapers we're out of my diapers line quite frequently. This is great I was worried about him and the willingness to participate in my adventure. So as long as he has a Bumkins in the pile hes okay with cloth.
